It was -15 degrees this morning when I stepped out the door. Normally the last thing on my mind in this weather would be paddling except that I have just spent the last 4 weeks finishing up the ECE. I am really happy with the way the movie turned out I have learned a ton along the way. I have just sent it off to the Reel Paddling Film Festival and the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival so hopefully it gets picked up and is shown across the country. In the meantime I'll be giving a premiere at 6 PM on Saturday December 20th at Endless Adventure in Crescent Valley BC. $10 dollars will get you in where you will have access to all the beer you can drink. If you're around Nelson come out and watch some paddling movies while it's too cold to paddle. If you haven't seen the teaser check it out here.
As this is a kayaking blog I'll add a couple of pictures. The first is from Howser Creek which we paddled in October and the second is from an ongoing mission that is on the radar for 2009.
