Thanks from Endless Adventure!!

Endless Adventure would like to extend a huge thanks to all of our loyal customers over the 2010 season, thanks to you we had an amazing year. We are also excited to offer all-inclusive kayak packages to Ecuador through our new expansion- Endless Adventure International. We could have not grown without the support of our local community, friends and family.
This season has been our best yet with new programs like our 5-day Kayak Beginner Immersion Week and our Youth Kayak Development Program. Our youth program worked tirelessly to train and support young paddlers wishing to compete in freestlye kayaking. This year we sent 4 juniors to the Canadian Freestyle Team Trials with our own Nick Barisoff placing 6th in Canada while Coach Ryman placed in the top ten mens division.

We have also seen growth in our women specific programs like our Weekly female paddle night; women on water, and our womens week kayak course. Through the efforts of our mostly female kayak staff we have seen a vibrant and growing women paddling community. Way to go ladies, next year we will see even more women getting out on the water.

July was youth month at Endless Adventure with new exciting programs encouraging kids to get outdoors and experience self propelled sports. Our Youth Kayak week was a huge success with youngsters learning the way of the kayak. For the first time ever we ran a 5-day intermediate kayak course that introduced important safety and rescue skills to young paddlers wanting to take the next step in the wonderful world of kayaking. Our Kids Eco camp enjoyed its second season fully booking two 5day programs. Kids learned about sustainability, ecology and the importance of enjoying low impact sports and activities.

The Endless Adventure Team also traveled across western Canada competing in events and promoting the Kootenays at Whitewater festivals. We brought our kootenay spirit to Clearwater BC, Kananaskis AB, Pincher Creek AB, Wenachee WA, Tofino BC, and Enderby BC, and since then we have seen a increase of paddlers coming to see what the Kootenays has to offer!

Over and above our exciting programs, Endless Adventure enjoyed a successful season teaching people of all ages to kayak through pool sessions in Castlegar, weekend courses, private lessons and school groups. Endless Adventure joined the whitewater rafting scene in addition to our increasingly popular inflatable kayak tours with $29 rafting trips during every weekend in August. We also go on board with the Stand Up Paddling craze renting boards and selling equipment, stay tuned next year for our new line of SUP clinics.

What is next for 2010/2011? After a 6-week program of learn to kayak pool clinics starting in September we head off to Ecuador for 3 months of all inclusive kayak and beach tours catering to all skill levels of paddler. What better way to enjoy your winter vacation than kayaking the remote jungle rivers of Ecuador or leaning to paraglide at one of the most beautiful beaches in South America.
Thanks again for an amazing season!

See you on the river,
Chris Ryman
