Whitewater Kayak Festival Tour of Western Canada with Endless Adventure

Every year the crew at Endless Adventure embark on a summer festival tour promoting the sport of kayaking, our Ecuador adventures, and just plain having fun! This season is no different, we are heading out on the road to meet and greet as many paddlers as possible.

The Vancouver Kayak Club Chilliwack Festival April 29-May1, Chilliwack River BC.

This is a first for Endless Adventure and we are stoked, here is what the club has to say about the fest this year. For the fourth year running, this laid-back social and fun weekend event has established itself as a kick-off party for Western Canada’s whitewater enthusiasts. The beautiful Chilliwack Valley offers several excellent class II – IV river runs with boulder gardens, pool drops, and surfing waves for paddlers of all interest and skill levels, including the famous Tamihi Rapid.
Meet new and old paddling buddies, demo the latest in gear and boats from our sponsors, and enjoy the free shuttle service to/from the Chilliwack River. Always a spectator favourite, all paddlers are invited to compete in the downriver race and other popular on-river contests.

In addition to the amazing paddling, the festival has been known for its silent auction and raffle where sponsors have donated some awesome prizes, such as boats, spray decks, paddles, helmets, PFD’s, and other kayaking related products and services. The paddler’s social with live music by the band “Switch” has been a crowd favourite during past years. Festival registration includes two nights camping, one dinner, and two breakfasts; as well as a free T-Shirt if registered by April 17th. For more info or to sign up follow this link

Three Rivers Rendezvous Pincher Creek Kayak Festival, May 21-23. Pincher Creek, Alberta

The EA crew attended this fine fest last year, it is truly all about paddling the good stuff in the frigid temps of Alberta. Not for the light of heart, bring your best puffy jacket and a dry suit.

The World Famous (in Alberta) May long weekend Pincher Creek Paddlefest is coming upon as with gusto. Nikki, Mitch, Talia and I will be on hand to help with demoing boats, instruction and maybe even some guitar tunes around the campfire.

Professor Paddle Ball, Wenachee Washington USA. May 30/31

Endless Adventure normally attends the Wenachee River Festival, this year we are heading south a little early and hitting up the Professor Paddle Ball, one of the best festivals in the West! Here's what the crew down in Washington has to say about it...
This is the annual grassroots whitewater gathering on the Wenatchee River sponsored by ProfessorPaddle.com, Western Washington's premier whitewater kayak online community. This year's event, on May 30th and 31st (the weekend after Memorial day weekend), will feature a rodeo, down river race, chili cook-off, and numerous opportunities to paddle the world class Whitewater in the Wenatchee drainage. As a volunteer-supported grassroots event, this event attracts whitewater enthusiasts from all over the northwest and beyond, and is a great chance to reconnect with friends as well as meet new people to boat with. It will be a great party with plenty of action for boaters and non-boaters alike.
Endless Adventure International will be donating a two for one trip for an Ecuador All-inclusive kayak vacation.

The Callaghan Creek Festival and Extreme Race, Callaghan Creek, BC mid July TBA

Chris Ryman and crew will be taking the challenge of the Callaghan Creek Race this year and enjoying the festival that accompanies the race. Callaghan Creek is a pretty intense run with great drops and exciting rapids, one of the most exciting creek races out there!
Goals for this event are:
First, come out and enjoy Callaghan Creek and the surrounding area with us, watch or compete in the race, and enjoy the festival and (hopefully) the live music.
Second, help us bring as many people together as possible to create a visible show of support for saving this incredible river. The more people we can get to the fest, the more visible it will be to the people of the area and the town of Whistler that Callaghan Creek is worth saving.
Third, all profits from admission fees and donations to the festival will go to organizations fighting hard to save BC's creeks from run of river hydro development.
