Earlier this week Chris and I missioned up to Nakusp hoping to paddle St.Leon Creek and a few others in the area but the last 4 days of near record heat put every river at near flood stage. We were still able to paddle Gardener Creek and the Fish River but were skunked by Kuskanax Creek and St.Leon which both looked amazing. If the proposed Hydro projects go through you will never see these levels again. I am continuing to film for the ECE and am starting to get enough footage that I might be able to put together a little teaser vid soon.
